We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Technical Talent Acquisition team and help us hire and retain skilled employees for our technical positions. Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract the best professionals.


As a Technical Recruiter at Cafe Bazaar you will:
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like Stack Overflow and Github
  • Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen technical resumes
  • Coordinate with Software Engineering team leaders to determine department goals and hiring needs
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  • Search for job candidates using various sources such as networking, job fairs or employee referrals
  • Write and post technical job descriptions
  • Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities if necessary
Requirements
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for different software engineer roles
  • Strong social aptitude and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organizations
  • Persuasion skills for headhunting the right persons and affecting their career decisions
  • Analytical understanding of the recruitment process in general, and updated information about how recruitment teams of other big tech companies work
  • Technical knowledge to be able to talk to job prospects and understand qualifications
  • Proven ability to build and maintain candidate pipelines for both short & long-term hiring needs
  • Sound approaches to candidate engagement for activating passive ones

Pluses:

  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • MSc in Human Resources Management, BSc in Computer Engineer or any coursework in business, human resources, or relevant technical fields
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
